Personal Training with Kalil
Kalil is a NASM certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and kickboxing coach. She has taught yoga here at the YMCA for the past 12 years, and is excited to begin serving the Y community as a personal trainer. Born and raised here in the UP, Kalil has been an outdoor sports enthusiast her whole life, and spends her time dirt biking, mountain biking, skiing, and trail running. While attending NMU, Kalil discovered a passion for Muay Thai kickboxing, and spent many years training and competing professionally. After undergoing several reconstructive knee surgeries, Kalil learned the importance of weight training and conditioning as a means of preventing and treating injury and living an all-around healthier and safer life. She is enthusiastic about bringing what she has learned to others, helping them approach their lives, sports, and passions with greater strength and confidence.

One-on-one Half Session
With our one on one personal training service, your goals can be quickly achieved with 100% personalized programming. From injury rehabilitation to performance enhancement training, we use a variety of strategies and techniques to help you move and feel better. Sessions are 30 minutes.
